Level One - Step One
To achieve level one you must master all the following step in order and have a member of the Impact Educational sign off.
Making The Feet Happen!
Marking time and achieving consistent tempo. Then understanding first where quarter note land with your feet and counting them. Secondly understanding the relationship between your feet and eighth notes.
Start by watching the video to the right and then start dong the daily routine.

Let's Learn How To Read Music
Start by downloading the "Music Theory Package". The three videos here are to support the information in the Music Theory Package. Below the videos are some play along tracks to support the music in the "Reading Rhythms Part 1" section of the package.
Your success as a marching percussionist is very much depending on you learning to read music. Take your time and ask for help if you feel you need it.

Evaluation for Level One - Step One
To achieve step one of level one you must clap 2 letters from 1-A to 1-C, 2-A to 2-F and 1 letter from 2-G to 2-F from the Music Theory Package. At 100 to 120 bpm. Each letter must be performed while marking time and using proper posture.
If you don't achieve this the first time you try it, take the feed back and keep working!!!
